OUR STORY
The company was formed as a direct result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. A virus that is currently spreading exponentially throughout the United States and all over the world. Our mission was to design a mask that simply provides better protection than the DIY masks that are currently being used by the majority of the general public, globally.
OUR MASK
One key factor that seems to be overlooked is the fact that not all masks are equally effective in their prevention of the spread of COVID-19. After extensive research,
outside of a commercial-grade respirator, our research has shown that some of the most effective masks at slowing down the spread of COVID-19 are the N95 masks, NIOSH Certified and FDA Certified masks & respirators. Since these types of masks are being prioritized for Medical Personnel, First Responders, and Front-Line Workers, as they should be, the demand has caused a Global shortage for the general public.

Although our masks are not intended to take the place of the N95, NIOSH, or FDA Certified masks or respirators, we recognized this dilemma and fully understood that the public was left to fend for themselves and we decided to take action.
KANDU
Although our masks are not intended for the replacement of N95, NIOSH and FDA Certified masks and or respirators, KANDU Masks & Shields is bridging the gap of availability for a high-quality mask available to the public.

We have developed a mask that has met ASTM 2100-19 standards and can be categorized as a Level 1 Medical Mask that can even be used as a procedural mask in the Health Care Industry.

We intend to do our best to help meet the needs of the public and also help meet the shortage of PPE needed in the Health Care Industry, as well as for First Responders and Front-Line Workers. Our masks are custom made, high quality, and simply provide better protection for you and your family then the typical DIY mask that has not meet any measurable standard. We are simply doing our best to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
